I was there yesterday for a Brazilian girls night out and Sean and Mitchel went above and beyond with the service! The cocktails are not only spectacular, but were also delicious! I didn’t know what to order and after telling Mitch the flavour profile that I like, he got me exactly what I needed! The jazz guys were also amazing and played some Brazilian songs the group requested which had our group singing along to! It was not cheap but it was definitely worth it and can’t wait to be back with my husband as I know he will love this place too! Tried the shot roulette with a friend too! It was really fun, but be warned that the bad ones are really bad! Good thing you can wash it off with another one of their amazing cocktails!

Great spot in Calgary if you're looking for something unique. The whole place feels like a real 1920s speakeasy - vintage decor, dim lights, and jazz music in the background. Cocktails are top quality with creative presentation and strong flavors. The staff is friendly and knows how to make a proper drink. I had a great time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for a different kind of night out.

The best place to stop for a nightcap. I mean, 2 drinks each for a couple will be around 80 but I think it’s worth it for a special treat. The place has a very cool vibe. Our server, Mitch, was amazing and very knowledgeable about the drinks. Here are the drinks we had; the first two drinks listed came with a presentation! My second time here and it is so much fun! The cocktails are presented in a magical setting, the atmosphere is dark sexy and cool (in temperature too as it’s in a basement), and the drinks delicious and desserts divine! If you want a classy and fun night with friends come here and enjoy the couches, bench, seating and sparkle tables. I mean what else do you need?!? Oh yes, more sparkles in the bathroom. Special house cocktails come in with super exotic and cool presentations! Each drink has its own unique story! The vibe is also really cool and cozy. I just give 3 stars to service, cause we had booked for a jazz night few weeks ahead and but when we showed up there was no band there and when asked about it they said we couldn’t find a band for tonight. We would appreciate it if we got a notice about the change in plans!

My friends and I visited Prohibition Bar yesterday and we just loved it so much. The drinks were fantastic, such amazing presentation and taste. An incredible experience from start to finish! This bar is absolutely amazing — the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, the drinks are not only delicious but true works of art, and the music is simply outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. I went with a group of friends to celebrate life and a dear friend’s birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better night. The musician played “The Girl from Ipanema” and “Wave” on the saxophone, which touched our hearts and made the night unforgettable. They even prepared a perfect caipirinha — a lovely nod to our Brazilian roots. It was a night filled with joy, warmth, and connection. We felt embraced and celebrated. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Went on magic night, and had a blast! The magician who came to our table was great and lots of fun. The drinks were truly incredible, works of art. The food, however, took over an hour to make it to the table, and one person in our party had theirs forgotten. Not great, but they did cover their meal at least. I think it was just an honest mistake so not dinging the rating for it. Though the prices are a bit steep, the ambiance is fantastic, and we will be back, probably again for magic night because it truly was so much fun.
